Provide services that include:
Designing individualized eating plans
Offering nutritional advice regarding
special diet needs (e.g. high cholesterol, high calorie, high protein, heart
health)
Recommending food choices for individuals
with swallowing difficulties
Giving healthy eating advice to maintain a
person’s ideal weight
Making recommendations about nutritional
supplements and vitamins
Monitoring weight, blood work, hydration,
food intake and tolerance to enteral nutrition
(tube feedings) and parenteral nutrition (IV
nutrition)
